Meet Ben

Ben has been a part of Paul Liddement Wedding stories for 8 years and has worked on hundreds of weddings around the UK, whether as a solo photographer or as a part of our team for large London weddings. We recommend him above all of our lovely photographer friends. The main reason is that he follows our style and approach and ethos.

relaxed STORYTELLING takes EXPERIENCE

Our storytelling approach is about reading the boundaries and mingling a little too. I choose Ben over all of my lovely photographer friends just because he is very easy to be around and understands the importance of each couples story. Ben has shot some of the biggest high end weddings around the UK over the last 8 years under my banner. Ben is a double of me and steps in usually when I am already booked, or travel commitments around key dates have made it tricky to get up and down the country in time. Our approach lends itself to a more relaxed and personable day, which Ben is amazing at.

Myself and Ben have that recipe of just the right amount of input. Over the course of my career I have worked with hundreds of photographers. Some brilliant photographers but that balance on the day is not an easy one to get. If your photographer is too shy it becomes awkward for your couples, if they are too self indulged, the wedding is no longer about the couples and it’s about the supplier. If they are unaware of their surroundings they miss moments and if they are stuck in a routine, you can be there for hours doing group and couple shots. Simply put that’s not what your wedding should be about!

That right blend in our experience is knowing the boundaries, understanding the connections, being in the right place at the right time and being a part of the wedding as a guest more than a ‘photographer’.

That way we become organic and people are comfortable around us and we can get your story! Our experience is the best way to have a story told.
