What do you love about our photography style?

When looking at your portfolio online we loved that there was a variety of posed shots alongside lots of natural shots. We thought the laughter, fun and love you have captured in so many of the photos was fantastic and something we really wanted in our own wedding photographs. We were really drawn to the fact that you tell the story of the day rather than just capturing posed photographs.

What do you feel we will bring to you wedding in our approach?

A relaxed atmosphere where guests will feel comfortable. We loved doing the pre-wedding photo shoot as Paul made us feel very at ease. This is something we really wanted at our wedding day so couldn’t be happier.

Vast experience photographing weddings but also an intimate knowledge of the venue and where the best photos should be taken. The fact that you have worked at Doxford Barns many times before is such a bonus for us.

What would you love us to capture on your wedding day?:

The love, laughter and energy of the day, us and our guests having fun.

A brass band will be ‘crashing’ the end of the ceremony. They will be making their surprise entrance onto the balcony of the threshing hall and would love our guest’s reaction, the band and us dancing back down the aisle to be captured.

There will be four dogs at the wedding who join in the celebration after the ceremony. We would love for them to be captured wearing their bow ties.

As a nod to how we got engaged there will be toy crabs hidden around the venue. Whoever finds one can redeem them for a free drink at the bar. If you were able to capture any of this, that would be amazing.

After the meal we will have the bit bar open as a token to Connie’s late Nana, serving her favourite drinks. We would love to see photos of us and our guests enjoying this. Additionally, after the meal there will be a three-legged race in homage to how we met. We would love the fun and ridiculousness of this to captured. We will also be doing shots of Lambrini after the race and shots of this would be great to have.

When thinking about the couple shots, we have loved looking at your portfolio online. We would love some in the fields and under a tree.

If we are honest, we have complete faith in you Paul and trust you implicitly to capture our day. We loved meeting you in October, you made us feel totally at ease and we loved the moments you captured. We are delighted you are going to be telling the story of our wedding.

Wow! Wow, wow, wow, wow! We love the photos so much, you have done such an incredible job, they are all stunning. You really have told the story of the day and captured the fun, love and laughter. We cannot actually put into words how pleased we are with the photos, it has been such a joy reliving the day when looking through them. We have no idea how we are going to narrow it down in terms of which ones to frame, I think our flat might may covered floor to ceiling in them.

We’d also just like to say a huge thank you for being utterly brilliant on the day. You put us completely at ease and really were more like an extra friend at the wedding. From looking at your portfolio online we always knew you’d capture the wedding beautifully, we didn’t know we would have so much fun spending time with you on the day. Thank you also for staying so late when everything ran over as well as for a baileys towards the end of the night.
