Poppy + Adriano - Leez Priory Essex Wedding

As spring begins the lure of a wedding with a wonderful couple and a fascinating venue beckons.

Poppy and Adriano were looking for something a little more styled and a lot more natural and were the kind of couple who wanted to feel relaxed on their wedding day. To be themselves. Thats exactly how their wedding went and it was great to be an integral part of their day and to capture it they way they wanted.

A very sweet and personable couple, we hit it off straight away with great respect and laughter which was perfect for this relaxed and quaint wedding. Poppy and I laughed all morning with a glass of Prosecco in hand and Adriano was such a good fit for Poppy everything just clicked.

Adriano and Poppy are both teachers and me being an ex-teacher there is an air of familiarity. Poppy loves Tudor history and they were keen to celebrate some heritage, so Leez Priory was the perfect venue for them with an amazing Tudor exterior and beautiful interior.

Although they only lived around the corner from each other out wasn’t until later in life when they met and they travelled the world together with their next stop teaching in Singapore. Their history was important to them and they loved sharing in their love of Sicilian limoncello and enjoying her Nene’s Turkish coffee, Leez Priory was the perfect setting to pull all of this together.
