Summer, Natural retreats, Yorkshire.

The wedding was stylised and gave me an opportunity to be creative and tell a story and join in the fun at the end of the night!

When Kelly and Sam first met me they saw great potential in my vision for how their wedding should be approached, Kelly and Sam lived in Dubai but were originally from the area so it was very personal to be back home and they really wanted to celebrate in style.

When Kelly talked about the wedding before the day, she mentioned the design and the theme was of stylish sophistication. She said it was quite mad, chandeliers in the woods and vintage chairs overlooking the valley and floral archways. To be honest I was a little overwhelmed.

The thing that made this work was that we got on very well and i took the time to understand the vision Kelly and Sam had for the wedding. There were a few staged pictures and lots of relaxed fun pictures too so I really took the time to get to know the family and friends to get a feel for the direction.

We had confetti cannons at the end of the night and Sam’s TVR which had been locked in a garage whilst he was in Dubai, made a little visit.
